My journey started in the British Army, where discipline wasn’t a choice, it was survival. We trained in the mud, pushed through pain, and operated on little sleep, but we stood tall because we had to. That environment shaped me. It taught me how to lead, how to endure, and how to push past limits I didn’t even know existed.
But the military chapter eventually closed, and civilian life hit different. No more 5 AM drills. No more structure. No more brotherhood. I drifted. My fitness faded, and so did the fire. I wore the scars of service, mentally and physically but somewhere in that darkness, I realized something: I missed the fight. Not the combat, but the challenge. The grind. The mission.
So I built a new one.
Iron Stag Fitness was born from that comeback. It’s not just about biceps and macros. It’s about reclaiming your edge, your purpose, and your power especially when life’s tried to take it from you. I’ve been broken, out of shape, and overlooked. I’ve also been elite, unbreakable, and focused. I know both sides and that’s what makes this different.
Now, in my 50s, I train smarter, harder, and with more purpose than ever. And I help others, especially men and women over 40 do the same. Because age isn’t a barrier. It’s your badge. You’ve already survived life’s hardest battles. Now it’s time to thrive.
Iron Stag isn’t just a name. It’s a mindset. Stags don’t follow the herd, they lead with strength and presence. And so will you.
This is your call to arms. Your second chapter starts now.
